Perfect for Flying!

GASoundMan

My wife is nervous while flying, so I put this on her mp3 player...she listens to the first track over and over and it relaxes her and makes the flight bearable! It IS quite relaxing...I have it on my phone as well!

pure meditative journey

direwolf0701

extremely relaxing - great for soul searching and light meditation. it can, however, have a tendency toward overly melancholy tonal qualities. so dont listen if you are in a very depressed mood.

Great relaxation

I use these pieces for yoga, and each is wonderfully arranged and walks the fine line of being relaxing without being too catchy.

Spiritual asylum for troubled thoughts

etripper

This music is a balm for whatever perpetuates a troubled restlessness within the human condition. It evokes feelings of euphoric peace and timelessness, and a sense of universal wonder. I believe that all ambient, and new age fans should own at least one "Liquid Mind" album. This one would be a good place to start. Chuck Wild's efforts should be considered as "musical jacuzzis" for the conscious intellect needing pampered shelter, and primal rejuvenation. If you favor artists like Vangelis, Constance Demby, Medwyn Goodall, or David Sun, then you will be reasonably pleased. I found this album, to also be, quite somber at times, much in the same vein as composer Samuel Barber's "Addagio for Strings" (as interpreted by William Orbit); but do draw your own conclusions.

Balance Your Mind & Relieve Anxiety

dreammessenger

If you suffer from Anxiety & Panic disorder then this would be the right music for all those suffering. Listen while in bed to calm your nerves and melt away the stress. Chuck Wild's Liquid Mind music is a must have. Also, the new album entitled "Liquid Mind IX: Lullaby" has just been released.

relaxing -

brwnmamba

I tend to associate New Age music with Enya--but this is no Enya. I was seeking relaxing music to wind down to, without being cheesy or to touchy-feely. This music is extremely relaxing even for the most hard-core or punk fans. If you're going to own one New Age relaxation album I highly suggest this one.

They Say All Music Guide

Chuck Wild may be one of the few composers in the world who would take it as a compliment if he were told his music puts people to sleep. The veteran film/TV composer and pop songwriter (whose credits include cuts by the Pointer Sisters, Jennifer Rush, and Philip Bailey) is the architect behind the Liquid Mind sonic ambience concept. From the time he created his first disc, Ambience Minimus, in the mid-’80s, he’s created albums around the themes of things like Balance, Unity, Spirit, and Serenity that all live up to his trademarked philosophy of Musical Healthcare. Wild originally wrote this type of music to reduce the stress of his heavy workload and to cope with the loss of many friends and family members to cancer and AIDS; in creating these lush but simple “compositions” (which truly make the listener feel a floating sensation as the heart rate lowers), he’s given hope and healing to thousands. Relax, whose title states its intention, is a gathering of eight tracks from these previous collections whose titles help create a slumbering theme: “Serenity,” “Touching Calm,” “Lullaby for Grownups,” etc. There’s not much variety or movement from track to track but the point is that, like Wild, you won’t need any pills to get to sleep. – Jonathan Widran
