I first found Lodger the way most people first found Lodger. Their infamous music videos. The song 'I Love Death' would constantly run through my head as I walked across campus to class, and back to my dorm and back to class. Honeymoon Is Over continues their tradition of cynical lyrics and dark yet catchy and energetic riffs. They sound like a bastard child of Bowie and Beck. While not quite as good as Hi-Fi High, Lights Down Low (which, I frankly prefer the original release to the more widely released re-mastered version), I like it a little better than How Vulgar. Which is still a solid album. Hopefully with some more wide exposure like iTunes and eMusic (which I didn't expect to see, frankly and actually have an imported vinyl of this album) they might get more exposure in the states and play shows on this side of the pond.
