Not the real thing
Sorry dnicoll, you have them mixed up with the London SYMPHONY Orchestra, who did the original soundtrack (and most of John Williams other movie themes) This album is close, but not quite there.

LPO - the MAIN orchestra to look for
The London Philharmonic have done more soundtracks than many have had hot dinners. For the 'real' sound and a professional production, you can't ask for better.
Great themes from Sci-Fi
I am a fantasy and science fiction fan and the music on this album has some memorable tracks. They bring back the scenes from the different movies very well.
