This is a wonderful record - all Lonnie Johnson accompanying himself on guitar: beautiful singing, great guitar picking, an all around lovely album. From the funnier, funkier songs to the love ballads and blues laments, the emotions ring true, the blues guitar is a partner in his well-told tales.
