Thanks emusic--i expected re-recordings but was pleasantly surprised to find none.while only 7 of these songs highly appeal to me,i'm downloading the entire set so as to have sort of a library(albeit rather small)of lou christie.The songs that would have rounded this set out perfectly are \"rhapsody in the rain\"(what's known as the 'uncensored' version), \"trapeze\" and cryin' in the streets\"//fortunately i already own those and will simply add them to the folder after downloading these and then burning them all as a \"best of lou christie\" cdrw.to those who do that that sort of thing i recommend mp3gain(oops,i'm name dropping).i highly rate this set of songs.
