Not overly depressing
Loudon's "retro" Charlie Poole Project won him a Grammy. Now he's working the same 30's vibe in 10 songs documenting America's NEW Depression. His biting wit is in full force but the subject matter means this latest outing can't help but be a bit of a bummer
