Red Keeps on Rollin'...
Sonically, Memphis Mojo sounds very much like Red's last release, \"Back to the Black Bayou,\" so it can really be considered a companion piece to that great record. There's more outstanding, workmanlike blues here, sounding swampy and nasty. Red's vocals are starting to show his age a little, but if you liked \"Back to the Black Bayou,\" you've got to pick this one up, as well.
