The best dark/acoustic hidden secret
This is so wonderful. Acerbic like really dark chocolate paired with a snifter of fine port. Wooden sound with that slowly throbbing cello - flips my introspective switch every time. Their first album, Capo My Heart isn't on eMusic but it's even darker (it was my #1 album of 2007). Lots of songs about woods, bears and the darkness in our own human condition. I've been listening to C. Gibbs for years and had no clue that he was in this band. His stuff and these 2 Lucinda albums have a permanent berth on all of my playlists.
