the twitchiest
I've known the first 4 of these 18 tracks for more than a quarter-century. Who knew there were more than the 2 singles? I haven't seen any liner notes yet, so some of these questions may be answered, but I will make some surmises from the music. The opener "Metronome" has always been one of my favorite songs - the twitchiest song I know. David Byrne on speed! The first 5 tracks are in this style. Then there are about 4 which sound earlier, with a tophat upbeat disco style I don't care as much for. Then a couple of funk/experimental instrumentals, a couple of songs that sound like Bauhaus, two live tracks. All in all an eclectic mix. I love it.
