Track 17 is now mended!
Strange that such splendour as this disk contains has provoked bitchy comments… This is by far the finest Haydn playing I have ever encountered and its sound and presence equals a live performance in a big hall - even on my cheap headphones. It brings back the feeling of presence that we had when the Walkman first appeared. As for niggles about the cost, do what I'm doing and download 2 symphonies a month. It's cheaper than your morning coffee if you do it that way. What a fantastic resource is growing in the eMusic Classical library. By the way, track 17 is fixed.
