Nice, nice
Hard to find much info on this one, so here's a rough translation from his website: "together with Lucrezio de Seta (drums), Lorenzo Feliciati (upright bass), and special guest American trumpeter Tom Harrell. It contains only original pieces composed by me." From an Italian magazine: "L'Odore Della Pioggia is a song that probably is important especially to Marco Giocoli, having been written precisely the same evening in which his son was born." Tom also plays flugelhorn on this; Fabrizio Mandolini on soprano sax. Every bit as pretty as it sounds like it would be. Anything wrong with that? Didn't think so.
