"Normalizer" Project
This is Marco's efforts at composing music over his own 51min drum solo, the others in the series being Trey Gunn's "Modulator" and Alex Machacek's "24 Tales". Unfortunately Marco has included snippets of conversations he has recorded while on the road and these rather inane warblings detract from the music and eventually become irritating. The other albums in the series are superior in musical composition and ultimately more listenable. E-music's decision to allow American customers a "deal" on the downloads for this album but charge UK and European customers the full 34 credits is nothing short of discrimination and E-music should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. This album is unfortunately not worth the credits, but don't let this put you off other Minneman albums as he is an excellent drummer.
