Former vocalist for cowpunk band Lone Justice, Maria McKee’s volume of The Millennium Collection focuses on her debut, self-titled disc, You Gotta Sin to Get Saved and Life Is Sweet. It is true that not every great song McKee recorded is here, but it does contain a terrific selection of her very best, including “Panic Beach,” “I Can’t Make It Alone,” “Absolutely Barking Stars,” and “If Love Is a Red Dress (Hang Me in Rags)” from the film Pulp Fiction, which makes this a great first-purchase sampler.
