Sloppy and half-assed. I'm a big Lanegan fan, and I've liked pretty much everything he's done, but this album sounds like demos for songs they couldn't be bothered to finish. And Lanegan sounds like he's mic'ed from across the room. What a waste.

Verdunguy

I downloaded this while in the mood for loud rocking noise. That's not what I got, as I knew from the samples and reputation of the artists. The release won me over immediiately. It's a quiet, thoughtful moody piece, and it is extremely good.
