The Hey Album Is Best

Mad_Mooby

True....their second album (as *this* band) was called the Hey Album, and it remains, to this day, one of my top ten discs of all time. I've been following this band since they rolled into L.A. in 1988, and while Butch Walker has moved on to other successes, this is the best, most talented version that ever was. If you can find the Hey Album, do not hesitate, grab it up.

This is alright, but you'll probably like their other album which came afterwards, I think. The one with "Freak of the Week," etc..

They Say All Music Guide

Marvelous 3 reinvents pop that’s pure with the indie release of Math and Other Problems and 12 slices of freshness that are never too tart or too sweet, but always come right to you courtesy of these three talented musicians from Atlanta, GA. Highlights include “Cars Collide,” “Valium” (which is not about being in a drug-induced stupor) and “Make Up.” Math and Other Problems is a great indicator of what they released on their first major-label debut, and it’s easy to see that talent like this couldn’t be kept down for long. Hook-laden to the max, you’ll find oodles of enjoyment within the grooves of Marvelous 3′s Math and Other Problems. – James Chrispell
