Well holy crap

louloumack

Matthew Good is the single best singer I have ever heard in my life ever. I never had a favourite band until I listened to him. You have to hear him a few times though, so listen to a track at least twice before you judge. If you've never heard anything by him before, go for alert status red and then when you're obsessed listen to everything else

M. Trolley

sabrenaut

For those who don't know, M. Good v. M. Trolley is a short little take where Matt Good tries to play the piano ditty from Mr. Rogers, then gives up, saying something like, "How can you play that fast?" Funny. Shows his sense of humor, also evident on tracks like "Rico." Matt Good is an incredible musician and I can't recommend enough checking out all of his music. Nearly every song he writes is superb (die hard fans might say EVERY song).

Good Music from a Tightly Wound Canuck

I play Matthew Good when I'm having one of those days the incomprehensible fuckedupness of the world is getting to me. Intelligent, angry music.

CFox Vancouver Seeds band success story

sunshinemari

One day I was blessed to accidently find a radio station coming out of Vancouver BC at a time when I was yearning to hear some new bands.....Symbolistic White Walls was one of the first songs I heard on that station and I was hooked. Every year CFox puts out a CD where they chose local bands to be on it and provide them with the opportunity to make it big...thereby called Seeds Bands. This band was one way back in the mid 90's. Apparitions is one of my all time favorite songs, and this band is too. He was so certain their first album would be a success he fronted his own money to make it and that paid off. I recommend the entire 2 discs and you will find yourself searching for all the Matthew Good Band's albums ever made. Its just too bad the record companies keep Canadian bands separate from the US. Don't miss out on this one.

Down load it now.

MasterOfTimeandSpace

You lucky dogs, Matthew Good is now on E-music. Disk one is a greatest hits and dist two is more rareites and accoustic retakes. Do your self a favor, down load track 3 and 10 from disk one, fall in love with them, then come back and get the rest.
