Da Villian

I only like a few song on this album, but it's always been that way with Ren's music, just a few good tracks on the album kept me satisfied. It's not easy making music, especially if you've been in the music so long,it's hard staying fresh. So for those few songs I like I will rate the album based on that 3 stars.I will buy those 3 songs on emusic,to show that support.

Horrible

I didn't even know MC Ren still made albums and now I know why. Lyrically this is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. Every song is about fake rappers, rappers who talk about him behind his back, and rappers who don't sell. Which is ironic since this probably only sold 10 copies. The rest of the lyrics are about ho's and weed and he probably swears more on this album than all of the NWA albums combined. Time for retirement.

It's no longer the 90's

EMUSIC-022F967A

MC REN used to be one the premiere artists in N.W.A. Over the years he has changed from a pioneer of Gangsta Rap to a follower of the sound of the 2000's. Another noticeable issue is the pervasive explicit lyrical content. Explicit lyrics were once a big issue in the industry (the more you cursed, the better your sales were). However, this is NOT the case now in these days. If MC Ren would concentrate more on a better or clever wordplay without so much profanity, he would be a real villain on the mic.
