Great songs, The Fog is as velvety as ever. Noticed a bit of distortion in some of the trax. But at this price, can hardly complain

This is a bit of a strange collection. There are some gems, however the album includes songs from back in the 1940's (The Mel-Tones) and one,"It Had To Be You" is actually by Harry Connick Jr.

THE VERY BEST IS A FITTING TITLE FOR THIS ALBUM .

How does one get 50 winners on one album? I can feel the fog rolling in when Mel does stuff like "A Foggy Day"or "April in Paris". The fog man paid his dues in how many class "B" hollywood musicals?HE WAS NO ACTOR BUT ALL THE TIME HE WAS FINE TUNING HIS DELIVERY AND EXPANDING HIS INVENTORY. This album is about 145 minutes of 5 star delight. I gotta have it!!!!
