This is so freakin' refreshing!!
I love the voice and the new blend of elements. She is finding a balance that is so rare these days, and works!! I will await new material from her as she loosens up a bit and grows into this uncharted territory. Absolutely love her feel for Jazz, folk, and pop that she blends to create this sound. T-h-a-n-k y-o-u for giving us some updated jazz that has great musicianship, and is not just re-hashing the same standard stuff!
