Great voice, great choices

Michael Stanley's voice is built for rock and he knows how to pick songs: Steve Earle, the Stones, the Temptations. He brings more than enough freshness to make them worth re-recording. Some are dramatically rearranged. This is a fun record for grownups who have a brain and a record collection. A must download.

After growing up in Ohio, I am biased about liking Michael Stanley. But I think he has done some of his best work since MSB. These recordings are no exception. His version of Dead Flowers is great. I can't say the same for Sweet Jane, but this is defiantly worth to download.
