If the hard driving Rock/Metal style is what drew you to the band then 99% is in keeping with that. The song has a more melodic chorus and solo then some past songs but overall is still a Hard Rock/Metal song. I am not particularly happy with is how forgettable the riffs in it are. They are paint by numbers Ministry and sound forgettable. I want catchy riffs that get stuck in my head since this is what helped separate Ministry from a lot of other Metal bands. The lyrics in this song are best ignored ... lest you want to be sad that a person over 13 wrote them. There might be a case here for finding someone else to come in on vocals. There are such heavy chorus effects and such on them that you would be better off getting a text to speech translator app to do the singing. It would sound more human. Over all it is a fine song. Being neither bad nor very good.

Madonna, MDNA: Madonna's 12th album finds her reuniting with producer William Orbit on several tracks, teaming with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj on another… more »

Who Are…Pop. 1280

By Matthew Fritch, eMusic Contributor

Getting under your skin has been Pop. 1280's business since 2009, when the Brooklyn-based industrial/noise outfit issued the appropriately titled "Bedbugs" 7-inh. Led by singer Chris Bug and guitarist Ivan Lip, the band's commitment to provocation knows no bounds: We suppose you could do worse than open your debut album by shouting "Two dogs fucking!" but we'd have to comb through some pretty dark corners of eMusic's catalog in order to suggest something more foul.… more »
