I was suckered in to buying their first release without her by some friends who we're celebrating the bold new sound after she left.Should have known it was their general 'singers-are-all-divas-who-get-too-much-credit' discrimination shining through. Finally a new Morcheeba record I'm enjoying after the purchase.

Wow, but better Live

It is a great thing that Skype is back -- fabulous voice and wonderful singer. Saw them two nights ago, and was blown away. No matter what you think of their studio stuff, which is fabulous and intricate, Skype -- in her red leotard/dress -- makes all of that better. They performed songs from CDs in which she was not the lead singer, and it blew me away. This is a band you must seen live if you possibly can. "Sunshine suicide survivor" was the most impressive and shocking lyric of the concert. But besides the lead guitarist (wait until he does slide to really go nuts), bass guitar, drum, there is also a keybordist and seperate synthesizer. If they are in your area, then go.

Skye is Back!

I was one of the many fans who didn't really enjoy Morcheeba when Skye wasn't in it. Having her back in this album is great. Some great tracks: Blood Like Lemonade Mandala Crimson
