On Letters to Distant Cities, My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden narrates 24 poetic snapshots by the Turkish-American poet Mustafa Ziyulan, bookended by her song "The Sea" and Clare and the Reasons' song "Invisible." The songs have a frozen, haiku-like quality, surrounded by strings like wisps of fog. Gorgeous and hauntingly unforgettable.
