Like Dylan meets Springsteen, in 2006
Nathan Asher, in addition to being a really nice guy, is also a serious songwriting talent. The music on this record reminds me, at times of Bob Dylan (circa 1965), Bruce Springsteen (circa 1975), and U2 (circa 1985), all funneled through the mind of a twenty-something in 2006. Check out "Sex Without Love / A War" and "No More Colleges" for a taste. Absolutely incredible, and highly recommended
