If you like early Cure and Bauhaus
Although highly productive since their start in 1999 the only album they've released is this one. Prior this album mostly vinyl singles and maxis were available. This band quickly catapults the listener back into the late 70's. When bands like Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees or Bauhaus started with what was termed later as "post punk". The album kicks in with a pretty experimental track but quickly goes up in a pretty cool song "Sometimes it's hard to let go". The main guitar theme resembles to the Banshees best times. Similarly songs like "I can't see you", "I'm ill" or the last one "People change their minds" are potential post punk hits. But the other songs are comparably good whereas more experimental sometimes resembling me to the Cure's "Pornography" period. All in all a really good album and I'm really looking forward to hearing the next release, although it might take some time since Neils Children split this year just to form a new band called The Drop Five.
