Still keeping my subscription for now, because still get decent value for the money but the big 'corporate' decisions in re-creating eMusic are really testing me. Besides losing most of the great indie catalogs with artists like Arcade Fire and Neutral Milk Hotel, you aren't even putting up the apology and feedback form (to petition indie labels you lost like Beggar's Banquet) you used to have on the old site. Now a newcomer browsing through might just assume Arcade Fire is some obscure band with one EP to their name when that's all they see on the site! HOW SAD EMusic. You are the reason I discovered and loved many of these indie groups, including Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel, St. Vincent, and Modest Mouse. And for what it's worth I can't stand your new look and loved the old look. Background is too dark, font is too small and depressing. Why don't you give subscribers a choice of the look they want?

its one thing to add a host of more mainstream artists, but quite another to abandon your roots. Throwing out your repeatedly subscriber voted #1 album? Guys!?! WTF. There's no New Pornos left on this site either, along with countless other indie groups of note.
What happened to....

Great, but different than later
The vocals don't have the same (affected) accent as the later two albums, and instead of crazy horns, they have fuzzed-out guitar lilting in the background.
reissue of impossibly rare 1995 EP
This is Neutral Milk Hotel in the early days, when the distortion and noise are as loud as the music, and as integral to the sound. "Everything Is" in particular is a key early track.
