Weird Rock Glimmer in the 90s
I've got a soft spot in my heart for the weird, innovative (and sometimes downright unpalatable) NFAD, mainly because when I was finishing high school in the early 90s they were the among the few bands who could defy the mainstream cookie-cutter sound and still rock. In fact, they managed to make their music seem adventurous, if not downright experiemental, mixing industrial sensibilities with alt-rock in a way that was completely antithetical to anything Trent Reznor might throw out. Though sometimes repetitive, there really are some great tracks on this album; if you're not a fan of NFAD I recommend: American Money, I Take You To Sleep, Stockholm, and Bruises.
