A surprisingly great Mahler cycle

I have never been much of a Maazel fan, but I was completely won over by this new Mahler cycle. Maazel's tempi are on the slow side (really slow in Sym No 10), but there's never a sanse of dragging. The New York Philhatmonic (again not a favorite orchestra of mine) play their hearts out and reassert themselves as one of the great Mahler orchestras. Try this cycle. At a cost of 1 credit per movement, it is one of the best deals on eMusic.
