Glitch in Chanson de Nuit
There is a jarring static glitch at 2:30 in the Chanson de Nuit that rather spoils the effect.

... Chandos are a little more helpful on their website - Stephen Isserlis apparently IS present in a (as far as I know) spurious cello part of the popular "Salut d'Amour" making it more of a piano trio. Why didn't they just record it with violin and piano only, as Elgar originally wrote it? Nevermind, still very well played. However, this and the other popular (but nonetheless good) smaller pieces are not the highlight of this album - The "Violin Sonata in E minor" is excellent, a more so called "serious" composition; and this recording was given an excellent review by Gramophone. I downloaded it without hesitation - so should you! Also check out the gramophone recommended recordings on Chandos of the late piano quintet and string quartet found on eMusic *here*. Enjoy!
It must be obvious that they have entered the wrong artist. This is by Nigel Kennedy and not Steven Isserlis. Violin not cello.
