I'm hearing a lot of influences here...Kate Bush, a little Stevie Nicks, a little Cyndi Lauper...all women I've liked since the '80's and still like a lot. This album is like a fresh effort from all of them. In terms of pure musicality it's brilliant. Too much electro music is simply a mix of generic elements that blur together in a repetitive mess after 2 or 3 tracks. INSTINCT rises high above your formula electropop...an instant favorite for me.
