Nile..what else to say...the closest thing to their drum sound is the minigun in Doom 3...the destruction barrage brought by their rhythm guitar cacophony is enough to lay waste upon the whole world alt.rock population and their angst...their short, sweep based solos perfectly complement the death grunt and their doomy lyrics....hundreds of northern black metal bands and their pagan languages are swept away when Nile's death metal chants resonate...the grass does not grow back where they tread..

This is a solid album by the Egypt-obsessed death metallers. Maybe their best yet. The opening track really throws down the gauntlet, giving a DM fan everything they could want in a song. Unbelievable stuff. They even succeed in the softer, egyptian-instrument interludes, which sound fantastic. Get this album!
