Another side of Nina
These gospel tracks of Nina's are technically lacking. But Nina almost makes up for that with her powerful performances. These tracks don't appear on many other of her repackagings.

Can't recommend
The sound quality on this album is so rough that it's hard to listen to. A pity, because Simone's earthy, heartfelt singing should be such a blessing to listeners.

To say Nina Simone was "one of a kind" is an understatement. Her particular talents and passions absorbed, in seemingly equal measure, Bach, southern spirituals and oddball pop hits.
