Heads up tracks: Pinnacles, Porticus Of Grotto
The opening track is a little abrasive, but overall it's a pleasant album when I listen to it as background music. I'm undecided about the simple electro percussion rhythms. They fail me if I pay too much attention. Otherwise, the percussion is functional and allows me to enjoy the charming synth timbres and melodies. I'm hallucinating buried vocal choruses also. Swear I can hear, "fahn, fahn, fahn, auf der Autobahn" being sung in the distance on one of these tracks. Then again, I recently bought the "Autobahn" album by Kraftwerk again. Maybe that's why I like this "Architectural Effects" album at the moment.
