If you listened to synth-pop radio in the 80's, then this is more than likely the version you listened to. It's what I remember as the "original" as a teen in the 80's who loved the song.

Classic 80's jam
This is the version I remember and love from the radio growing up. It's more synth-y and the vocals more detached and New Wave sounding than the other version available on emusic (the "American Mix", where the horns are much more prominent, so it's more jazzy sounding).
Why bother
