Powerfully Popalicious!
Nushu are an infectiously rockin' and fun band who don't ever forget that melody is what good songwriting is all about. Their beats are pretty grooving too. They're a bit like a rawer, rougher Bangles or a more reigned in Breeders. There are nods to 60s girls groups, surf, punk and 90s in their highly melodic, harmonic, guitar-charged sound. This is great stuff and highly recommended!
