My Boy is still good

I am an O'Bryan fan, I saw him in conceret back in his heydey when lovelite and you & I was the big songs. I have a nephew who is a DJ in Louisiana, and I am going to get him to spring "Let me be the one" on the crowd and have the crowd guess who it is. I love this CD and I think he should go back into the studio and do it again. O'bryan if you review these you have a big fan base and we have been waiting for this keep 'em coming. your fan in Kuwait.

Great cd by long-lost 80s crooner!!

If you love the r&b of the 80s, surely you remember O'Bryan from the hits he had during the first half of the decade like "The Gigolo" and "You & I" (a remake of Stevie's 70s classic. Well, it seems r&b has caught up with O'Bryan again. Although the cd is firmly rooted in his 80s quiet storm roots, its got just enough modernity to be cool and is retro without being tired and played-out sounding. When you get this, listen to it as a whole and you'll get the full gist of it. O'Bryan's voice sounds just as good as it did twenty years ago and his arrangements are relaxing and clever. Either way, if you liked The Deele, The Force MDs, Surface and folks like that back in the day, this is a good way to go back down memory lane and still stay current.
