I absolutely love this album. They may have surpassed their friends in Antibalas with this release. The album features a good blend of danceable beats, interesting instrumentals, and catchy multi-lingual lyrics. I love how they seamlessly switch between English and Spanish. Ocote Soul Sounds is really forging some great new paths with this album, blending afrobeat with latin influences and some seventies-style instruments. Give it a try. I'm not sure who could possibly dislike this music. It goes well as background restaurant or cocktail lounge music, or as the foreground dance music at a party. Add some pan y circo to your music collection.
