We Turn It Up, We Turn It Up!

Download this album and start the stopwatch. My guess is less than thirty minutes later you will be downloading the rest of the album. There are a string of great songs on this album. 'Son of a gun', 'Voodoo', 'Wolf & I'. I'm not a lover of Pop music most of the time but this album has is transcends Pop, Electric, Modern, Alternative... and it works. Love it.

Addictive Music.

Oh Land is really addictive. I have had Sun Of A Gun stuck in my head for weeks. I was not sure if I would like the whole album but I have really been enjoying it.

If music styles cross-bred

jbmetrics

If you ever wonder what would happen if Bjork and Ladyhawke had musical offspring and had Astrid Gilberto and Smoke City raising the child. That would be what Oh Land sounds like. She has an unique music style that works amazingly well.

New Favorite record

I am totally blown away by this record. It is perfect in every way. Although there is not a bad track on it, start with "Perfection", "Break the Chain", and "Rainbow".

Stemming from the idea that phenomenal music can be stripped down to its core and remain just as impressive, the duo seek out bands they love-love-love-love, and record stripped-down sessions on a dead old lady's couch they inherited… more »
