Exciting new find!
Oli Brown is simply a stunning blues musician and at such a young age you have to wonder what he still has to offer. Open road has a rough and live recording feel. Citing similarities may be lazy but this record is lying somewhere between Stevie Ray and Gary Moore and Oli's vocals have the silky texture of John Mayer one minute and the rasp an old rocker the next. I can't wait to catch him live.
