Another decent entry in the mid-fi Americana / psych-pop landscape already inhabited by the likes of Best Coast, Cashier No.9 and Beach Fossils. Some unexpectedly electronic interludes and bizarre autotuned vocals make this stand out from the crowd a little more, but just for once it'd be nice to hear a record like this not smothered in reverb - it's definitely now a genre cliche and is rapidly becoming annoying! Turn down that echo and don't worry if it shows up how low-fi your album is - we won't mind :-)
