Wow!!!
I have finally downloaded this album after reading up on what binaural recordings are. Wow! What a difference from a standard recording. This is essentially a live recording without an audience. No overdubs. Everyone is placed in a circle around a special microphone. When you listen to the music (using headphones) you feel like you are sitting in the center of the circle and can tell exactly where every musician is seated. Go to YouTube and view the binaural videos filmed during the recording. For instance, you see on one of the videos that the percussionist walks around the room...you can actually hear it in the recording...as if he is walking in front of you, to the side then behind you....amazing!!!
