Unique
While initially only the tracks "Trollslottet" and "Nar Alvadrottningen Krons" really caught my attention, it only took a few listens to really begin to appreciate the melodic richness of this album. The vocals are unique, the songs well written, and while I would prefer a bit more variety in the speed and styles of the tracks, repetition has left me enjoying the majority of the album. I have not found a group that has this same Scandinavian sound, and of all Vintersorg's projects, this is the one I'll miss the most. Recommended.
