Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Tribute
ok so I should have actually looked at this - I thought I was downloading PINK FLOYD. My bad. Wait, no, this album is BAD. WHen I run a search for PINK FLOYD I guess I'm thinking PINK FLOYD.
New Slant - Female Vocals!
I like the Welcome to the Machine track - the aethereal gloom of this track is helped in this context by a female vocal. If you like her voice you will like the album. Of course it ain't the Floyd, but you didn't expect it to be did you?
What were they thinking???
They call this a tribute? It's almost a hit -- all it lacks is an "S" as the first letter. I couldn't even listen to the full demo of any of the songs.
Crappy Cover
For some odd reason, I downloaded this, even though I have the original Pink Floyd CD right here. Perhaps I was looking for a new take on it. In any case, everything about this cover is worse than the original, ESPECIALLY the vocals! The drums are crappy too, and that's no David Gilmour on guitar; what a waste of downloads.
