Outstanding Pop Album
Not a bad song on the whole album. This is truly a wonderful pop gem to play along side ELO, The Argument, The Cars, etc.

I disagree with the reviewer who said that the lyrics of "Simple Things" become grating. There are very few good songs about healthy marital relationships, and this is one of them. The song becomes more poignant if you are aware that Parthenon Huxley's wife died. And the rest of the songs on this album are great too: especially "Here Comes the Savior" and "Stay Where You Are".
"One More Day in the Life" and "Playing Her Guitar" are absolute gems, in two power-poppy minutes each. Also check out the remarkably tuneful "California" and "Simple Things," though Parthenon's overly literal lyrics and visions of domestic bliss begin to grate after a few dozen listens.
