"Duende" cannot really be defined in words. But it can be played, And no one -- No One -- plays it more truly and fully than Paco de Lucia. My introduction to de Lucia's playing was the album Friday Night in San Francisco, with John McLaughlin and Al di Meola. I soon found two of his albums, Siroco, and this one. If you love Flamenco, this is a must have. If you are new to Flamenco, this is an excellent place to start.
