Yes on steroids
I had never heard of Pagan's Mind when I ran across this album about 8 years ago in the stacks at the old Tower Records in Dallas. Decided to take a chance on them, and am I glad I did. After hearing the first two songs, I knew we had a great band here. Metal is the new prog -- this group is like Yes on steroids. Great power, song writing, and playing. Excellent melodic vocals, too. The standout tracks for me are Osiris Eyes, Entrance: Stargate, Back to the Magic of Childhood (both parts), and Prophecy of Pleiades.
