Sheer Brilliance.
I love prog rock, I enjoy doom metal. This synthesizes the best of both worlds, with enough crunchy hooks for ten quality albums. I had a respectful interest in Dan Swano, but this... this was a whole different level. I can still crank this up in the car and love every second. And if someone asked me what's good about metal, or doom metal, I could easily say it starts and ends here. Hasn't been duplicated, cannot be topped.
