Pastilla is an underground rock band, who slowly emerged about 5 years ago to convert themselves into one of the most recognized non-commercial rock group! From "Amor Metal" to "La Carpa", the sounds evoke "The Smiths" style mixed with an electronic scent. Definitely, a must-hear band!
I love this band. If you're looking for a good, rockin', spanish-language band, you've found it. As a non-native spanish-learner, I also find they speak pretty clearly so I can understand what the lyrics are talking about. Mentira is my all-time favorite, but Nunca is great and La Carpa is very fun. Poppy and catchy enough that you'll be singing along but with a awesome harder, rocking, alternative edge so you wonder why anyone listens to Ricky Martin.
