One of the stranger recordings I have heard
Funnily enough I came across this disk immediately after the EMI sampler 'Sprigs of Time' which is a very interesting and moving collection of unrelated vintage recordings. To me this has the same unworldly honesty with unpredictable voicings and instrumental relationships which should not, but do indeed, work. This is a splendid achievement. Do try it!
