Peggy Scott sure is about the most soulful singer I have heard. She had that down right gritty delivery that was so indescribable. I can only wonder what became of her. Maybe Aretha was the queen of soul but that could be due to the fact that she was so well handled; Peggy had a more raw and genuine delivery.
